First Prize Award in the 2026 World Environment Day Commemorative Article Competition

At the World Environment Day 2026 commemorative ceremony, Cadet Han Myo Thwin (N-3137), a second-year Deck Cadet from the Myanmar Mercantile Marine College, received First Prize in the University/College-Level Article Writing Competition for his article entitled “Let Us Work Together to Combat Climate Change.”

The award was presented by U Aung Lin Dway, Speaker of the Amyotha Hluttaw, to the first-prize winner of the University and College-level Article Competition held in conjunction with World Environment Day 2026.
