17th intake MMMC Cadet Course graduation event
The Myanmar Mercantile Marine College Cadet Course No. 17 Graduation ceremony was held on 3th April, 2026 at Myanmar Mercantile Marine College.
The ceremony was attended by the principal of Myanmar Mercantile Marine College, U Zaw Win Htun, officials from the Ministry of Transport and Communications, heads of departments under the ministry, teachers, guests, officials and parents of graduating cadets.
The Principal of Myanmar Mercantile Marine College first inspected the graduation company and took the salute of the marching companies. Afterwards, the Principal of MMMC presented awards to outstanding cadets. Cadet Su Paing Phyo (Nautical Studies), Cadet Ye Thwe Naing (Marine Engineering), and Cadet Aung Kaung Myat (Marine Electro Technology) were awarded the Best Cadet Awards. For academic excellence, Cadet Chan Myae Kyaw (Nautical Studies), Cadet Sithu Naing (Marine Engineering), and Cadet Sai Kaung Thant (Marine Electro Technology) were each honored with the Academic Excellence Award.
Afterwards, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport and Communications U Win Khant, met six outstanding cadets and their parents and took the documentary photos with guests, officials and graduating cadets.
In the 17th Diploma Course at the Myanmar Mercantile Marine College, a total of 278 cadets successfully completed the program. Among them, 124 were Cadets specializing in Nautical Studies, 117 were Cadets specializing in Marine Engineering, and 37 were Cadets specializing in Marine Electro Technology.
