Deputy Minister of Transport visits Myanmar Mercantile Marine College

The Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Transport, U Tun Lu, together with his delegation, visited Myanmar Mercantile Marine College (MMMC) on the afternoon of 27 June 2026.

During the visit, the Principal of MMMC College briefed the deputy minister and his delegation in the meeting hall on the college’s academic and administrative affairs, as well as the current status of the diploma training programs for cadets.

Following the presentation, the deputy minister emphasized the importance of continuously producing competent and highly qualified maritime professionals to support the development of maritime education. He also provided guidance and recommendations on the necessary improvements.

The Deputy Minister and his delegation then toured the college’s simulators, laboratories, and workshops, where they inspected the facilities and offered further instructions and guidance as required.
