Award Ceremony for Outstanding Cadets in the Korea Student Exchange Program

An award ceremony was held to honor cadets who received first prizes during their studies in the Republic of Korea under the Student Exchange Program at Korea Maritime and Ocean University (KMOU).

On July 3, 2025, the Myanmar Mercantile Marine College (MMMC), under the Ministry of Transport and Communications, organized the ceremony to present awards to cadets who achieved first prizes while participating in the Student Exchange Program hosted by the Republic of Korea. The event took place at the MMMC campus.

During the ceremony, U Zaw Win Htun, Principal of MMMC, delivered a congratulatory speech. Awards were then presented to outstanding cadets Min Htet Maung Maung and Sai Kaung Htet Kyaw, who received first prizes during the 2023–2024 academic year Student Exchange Program. Similarly, awards were presented to Ye Thway Naing and Aung Kaung Myat, who earned first prizes during the 2024–2025 academic year Student Exchange Program. Following the award presentation, Cadet Ye Thway Naing delivered a speech of gratitude on behalf of the award recipients.

The event was attended by U Zaw Win Htun, Principal of MMMC; Capt. U Kyaw Kyaw Win, Head of the Department of Nautical Studies; U Tun Lin Oo, Head of the Department of Workshop Technology; faculty members; and cadets from the Nautical Studies, Marine Engineering, and Marine Electro-Technology departments of MMMC.
