The Department of Myanmar was established at the Myanmar Mercantile Marine College in 2006. Department of Myanmar offers two diploma courses: Diploma in Nautical Studies and Diploma in Maritime Technology. These Diploma courses are aimed to provide the students with basic knowledge of Myanmar language and Literature.
Aim
Myanmar Department is aimed to educate and train the students to be able to proficient in Myanmar language and literature writing skill to rich in Myanmar vocabularies and skillful in their usage in Myanmar Society.
Objective
To use Myanmar Literature and language effectively in Myanmar Society.
To understand morale and social knowledge of the nation.
To create patriotic spirit and national prestige and integrity and respect the nation and people.
